Data and Model Usage

The service team ‘Data and Model Usage’ supports you in the creation of interoperable data (linked data) in accordance with the FAIR principles and in the reusability of AI models by supporting their conversion into our standardised exchange format (FSKX) and offering a cloud-based solution for exchanging and running the converted models.

You can reach us by sending an E-mail to  SKILLS@listserv.dfn.de!

Our services at a glance

We offer services that are tailored to your specific problem to achieve the best results for you. We focus on two core services in the area of data and model exploitation, supporting you from the initial idea through to sustainable implementation. We are happy to pass on your concerns on other topics such as the application of AI, legal issues and knowledge transfer to our colleagues in other teams.

Consulting on Linked Data and Semantic Web

Consulting in the areas of generating and using Linked Data, Linked Open Data, Semantic Web technologies (Wikidata, SPARQL), and Knowledge Graphs. Additionally, we provide advice on projects aiming to implement Linked Data according to the FAIR principles in their respective fields.

Generation of Linked Data

Transformation and mapping of data and metadata (DCAT) into Linked Data (RDF), particularly the transformation of structured data (e.g., tables) and domain-specific mappings to appropriate ontologies. This fosters interoperability, reusability, and supports the FAIR principles.

Conversion of AI Models to the FSKX Format

We convert your models into the FSKX format to assure machine readability and standardized exchange. The format encapsulates all necessary execution data and documents relevant metadata for reuse. We offer tools for code transfer, model annotation, and personalized consulting throughout the entire process.

Provision of Cloud-Based Resources for Using FSKX Models

Scalable cloud infrastructure for the exchange and execution of FSKX models. Our web services enable to publish models in the web repository to make them available to the scientific community. Before publication, all models undergo thorough curation to ensure the highest quality and security standards. Users can search, view, download, and execute curated models.
