After the great success of KIDA-KON 2024 in Leipzig, which attracted more than 100 participants, we are pleased to announce KIDA-KON 2025. The conference will take place on 17 and 18 September 2025 at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig.

Prof. Dr. Ina Schiering
Prof. Dr. Ina Schiering conducts research on cybersecurity, privacy, and data governance at the Faculty of Computer Science at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, she is a member of the board at the Center for Digital Technologies (DIGIT) at the Technical University of Clausthal in cooperation with Ostfalia University. She is the deputy spokesperson for the Leibniz Science Campus Postdigital Participation and a member of the scientific advisory board of the Forum Privacy. Her main research focus is on investigating the opportunities and risks of digital transformation in the areas of environment and health.

Paul Devalier
Paul Devalier is a recognized authority on digital transformation, AI, and the future of data in regulatory science. He has worked with Accenture, Tetra Laval and internet startups before joining EFSA. As EFSA’s senior digital coordinator, Paul leads multidisciplinary teams in harnessing advanced technologies, including AI and machine learning, to reshape food safety risk assessment and data governance across Europe. With over two decades of experience in program management, process optimization, and information management, he is driving EFSA’s efforts to integrate cutting-edge digital solutions that address the complexities of the modern regulatory landscape.
